Across social media platforms, there is substantial demand for engaging content from authors. The collection of authors who’ve embraced social media have generated sizable followings and engagement; the social media community wants to hear and see more from authors!
Social media marketing for the purpose of stimulating book sales requires unique and customized strategies. As such, publishers and authors have had unsatisfying experiences with generalist social media companies.
The publishing industry has yet to embrace social media marketing to the extent that other industries have.
Morgan Messing, the Founder of Logue Social, is a graduate of Brown University where she majored in English and Philosophy. Prior to founding Logue Social, Morgan worked at Goop in fashion and editorial. In her Junior Year of college, Morgan decided to transition to working in Publishing at InkWell Management and then CAA. From there, Morgan began working for Mona Simpson, as her Social Media Manager, in the run-up to and release of Simpson’s 7th book, COMMITMENT. Through her work with Mona Simpson, Messing discovered the greater need for author social media services.
Upon graduating, Messing founded Logue Social to work exclusively with authors to increase their fan-base, consumer-engagement, and book sales.
